Nicky and Darren’s wedding ceremony and reception was at The Langstone Hotel, at Hayling Island, Hampshire. It’s a fantastic hotel and right on my doorstep, which made a nice change as I cover weddings all over the South of England nowadays.
I started my day with some shots of Darren and his Best Man and Terry, the Father of the Bride. Terry in fact got married at this same location, a fair time ago (sorry Terry) – so the hotel has been popular for a long time.
The ceremony was good to photograph as the Spinnaker Suite benefits from a fair amount of natural light, as there are large panoramic windows, overlooking the harbour.
Having photographed the ceremony and signing of the registers, we opted for some photos outside the rear of the hotel, overlooking the harbour and distant Marina.
The Langstone Hotel is a great location for photographs. It is a large hotel, situated in the beautiful coastal rural Hampshire countryside, surrounded by Chichester harbour and a busy marina in one direction.
