Wedding Photography in Midhurst, West Sussex.

Today was a fairly local wedding for me, but for a first time yet at the church of St Mary Magdalene in Midhurst. I was doing the wedding photography for Kasia and Adam at this amazingly beautiful church and Town.

I arrived early to refresh my memory about the layout of the church as I was on foot (car parked a way away) and got the customary moan about wedding photographers from a person who turned out to be the church organist. Guests generally arrived quite late to the church and with only around 40 family and friends attending, made for a quite intimate and family orientated wedding (around half of whom were Polish). The ceremony was fantastic to photograph and was in an amazing church, as can be seen from the photos.

We had very bright, dry and HOT weather, which made for slightly uncomfortable conditions for group photos on the pavement by the side entrance to the church, before I headed off to Cowdray ruins for some photos with the couple.
Kasia was a fantastic bride to photograph - tall and elegant and didnt even seem to mind the bright late afternoon sun - although many of her family were Polish and were not able to understand much English, let alone photographers slang!! We got on well though and had a great day, with some lovely results, I feel.

After the group photos at the church and further photos at the ruins, the couple headed back to the Village Hall at Lodsworth for their wedding breakfast and evening of celebrations.
The images will be available for viewing for Kasia and Adam and their families and friends very soon. A few are posted here to show you a flavor of the event.

As always these images are © Martin Lewis Photographer and are protected under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and may not be used for any purpose without written permission from myself.
